Close up Lenses

Close up lenses are used on a daily basis by most of us that are trying to enter the ranks of professional photography or those of us that are already in that category. We are however going to act as if only aspiring photographers were reading this article and talk about the good features close up lenses have and, at the same time, some of the bad features they expose, simply to make sure the choice you make is unbiased and no outer influence has risen in your decision.

We all have an obsession with detail, and this is one aspect on which close up lenses stress, in a harsh manner. If you have ever wondered how a small insect looks close up, then you have just found the perfect tools to see everything, and I am referring of course to the close up lenses. As a first good feature, they have extraordinary magnifying capabilities and will let you see a level of detail that you will simply not encounter in other cameras that lack this special type of lens.

Also the prince is another advantage that is a bonus for these close up lenses. You can purchase them for around $50, however truly professional tools such as the Nikon macro lenses could snatch a bit more out of your pockets. Also a beneficial feature is that they do not require exposure corrections since they have it automatically and they are relatively small in size, so they are easy to carry around in case you need to swap them quickly to take several types of pictures.

These are the main advantages or good features that the close up lenses have to offer you as the user, so we can now move on to the bad parts. They aren't very high quality products even though they might actually be good enough if you stop and lay down to take the picture and if you can also find two element structured close-up lenses. A good choice is always to go for some Nikon zoom lenses instead of some of the cheap one-element ones. The main disadvantage of the close up lenses is that you are required to take them off in the case that you want to make several pictures at different distances. This can sometimes be a bother, however this is why they are easy to carry and you can keep them in your pocket.

Like everything in the world, close up lenses have their good parts and their bad parts. A sure thing is that if you want to reach a new level of detail, you simply cannot leave home without them. For more info, check http://nikonmacrolenses.net/
